People are stupid, mean, obnoxious, arrogant, ignorant, cowardly, rude, selfish, self-serving, chaotic, unkind, immature, gross, horrifying, disgusting, childish, slow, lazy, ugly, wicked, insesnsetive, impatient, amoral, insolent, jerkish, tool-headed, cruel, spiteful, disrespectful, unwise, close-minded, evil, overbearing, boastful, lustful, prideful, sinful, holier-than-thou, heartless, cold, and short-sighted.
But people are also kind, good, thoutful, loving, spirited, brave, bold, just, lovely, generous, righteous, intelligent, articulate, powerful, stunning, dashing, mature, selfless, Christ-like, strong, humble, meek, joyous, peaceful, purposeful, blameless, protective, wonderful, fabulous, fantastic, creative, artistic, talented, beautiful, simple, complex, gentle, faithful, willful, patient, sagacious {haha :)}, funny, bright, crazy, cool, brilliant, and intuitive.
People are people. Some are amazing, some not so much. Some will love you with all of their heart, and vice versa, and others not so much. People will hate you and hate on you. They'll dislike you because you're more talented than they are, or more attractive, or because you have more friends. People will dislike you because both of your parents are in the picture, or because you speak with intelligence and confidence. People will see Christ in you, and hate you for it. They will want the light that you have and hate you for it. But think about it, isn't God inside of us? And isn't God love? ("God is love." 1 John 4:8). Yes I realize that was a rhetorical question. Therefore have a heart full of love, respect, and compassion. Especially towards those that hate you. If you can't love your enemies, at least pray for them and be cordial and respectful. WWJD?
